POLICIES
BOOKING & PAYMENTS
A credit card is required to book and hold your spot.
You will never be charged without your knowledge.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
The appointment begins as soon as you enter the treatment room.
Your treatment time can include an intake, discussion of
treatment, and orthopaedic assessment. This is to ensure the
best care during your treatment. Please arrive on time so you
receive the most out of your session.
Thank you in advance for respecting our treatment time together!
CANCELLATION & NO SHOW POLICY
24-hour notice is required to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
If you cancel/reschedule less than 24-hours you will be charged 100% of the treatment cost. There are no exceptions.
Your future appointments cannot be made or fulfilled until the
No Show/Cancelled appointment invoice is paid. Insurance providers
do not cover missed appointment fees.
However, the fee will be waived if you immediately fill the spot and
send someone in your place. If they do not show for the treatment, it
is still considered a No Show and you will still be charged 100% from
your credit card.
If I cancel/reschedule your appointment with less than 24-hours notice your next treatment fee is reduced by 50%.
Reminders are sent 48 hours before your appointment. Please use the links in your confirmation and reminder emails/texts to cancel or reschedule your session.
Consecutive actions of booking then cancelling appointments can result in termination of subsequent treatments and therapeutic relationship.
FAQ
This is my first massage. What should I expect?
Before treatment begins, I will review your health history to discuss your personal needs and goals. There may be
orthopaedic assessments involved prior to treatment. An overview of session procedures will follow. After the treatment,
we can discuss a treatment plan. You have the right to modify or rescind your consent at any time of the treatment. If you
have more questions or are nervous to get a massage I recommend
contacting me before booking so we
can discuss if a massage is a suitable treatment option for you. I am happy to refer you to another health practitioner otherwise.
What are the payment methods?
Payments methods include credit card, EMT 24hrs prior to your session (RMT deposits after the treatment in person), and cash.
Signed receipts are e-mailed immediately after payment and can be submitted to your health insurance plan. I do not offer direct billing to insurance companies.
What if I’m feeling under the weather and have to cancel my appointment?
Please reschedule if you are feeling sick. However, I do have a firm 24-hour cancellation policy that applies.
If you cancel, reschedule, or no show for your appointment for any reason with less than 24 hours notice, the credit card on file/EMT will be charged 100% of the treatment cost.
Alternatively, you can send a friend/family member to take your appointment. If they do not show for the treatment, it is still considered a No Show and you will still be charged 100% from your credit card.
Please refer to the Cancellation policy for more information. Thank you for respecting my time.
I use a hypoallergenic oil free of scents and additives. It contains purified water, grape seed oil,
vitamin E, organic arnica Montana extract, organic white willow bark extract, citrus fruit oil, sage
oil, and sesame oil.
Do I remove all my clothes during the massage?
Most patients leave the underwear on and remove all other clothing. It is up to you as long as you feel comfortable.
Feel free to remove as much clothing as you like. I will drape and secure sheets accordingly so you feel at ease.
Yes. Street parking is available (north side). Please do not park in the driveway.
Do I need to wear a mask?
Masking is optional for both patient and RMT.
I want to bring my friend/partner/child. May I/they wait inside while you treat me/them?
You are welcome to book for another person and have back-to-back treatments, but you must arrive separately for your individual appointments. Childcare supervision is unfortunately not provided.
I'm early for my appointment. Now what?
If you're more than 10 minutes early, please don't ring the doorbell as I may be with another patient. Please wait in your car or have a seat on the neighborhood bench until your appointment time. I kindly ask that you arrive just 5 minutes early for all appointments.
Is your space accessible?
No. There is one step from the entrance and six steps leading to the studio.
